Important information about teacup yorkies.....
There is no such thing as a Teacup Yorkie. This is a term only used by backyard breeders and puppy mills.
All Yorkshire Terriers bred to the breed standard are under 7lbs. Most breeders prefer to breed yorkies between 4lbs and 7lbs.
Occasionally, a reputable breeder may have a puppy that is smaller than 4lbs, which is rare. Most of the time, puppies that
are under 4lbs have many health problems because of their size, however, when a reputable breeder has one of these smaller
puppies, they are usually healthy. These tiny yorkies need special homes and are not suitable for homes with small children.
The same goes for the opposite - occasionally a breeder may get a yorkie puppy that will grow
to be over 7lbs. This puppy may not a show dog but will make a wonderful companion and a great family pet.
All pet puppies are sold on CKC Non-Breeding Agreements. Puppies that are over 6 months of age are spayed or neutered
before leaving. Show puppies are sold with show contracts. All of our puppies are bile acid tested and come with a two year
health guarantee.
